Francesca Noardo has joined our research group as a postdoc.
Francesca Noardo has a Master degree in Architecture (Restoration and Promotion) from the Politecnico di Torino (Italy) (2012), where she also obtained her PhD degree in Cultural Heritage (2016), developed in the geomatics research field. From 2013 to 2018, she held a research grant in the Politecnico di Torino, Department of Engineering of Environment, Infrastructures and Land, dealing with geomatics themes. In particular, her main interests are 3D survey techniques and the management of cartographic and 3D geometric data through Geographical Information Systems. Her research was especially directed at the use of standard data models and open technologies to archive semantic information in 3D digital maps.
She is also the secretary in the Working Group WG IV/2: Ontologies, Semantics, and Knowledge Representation for Geospatial Information of the International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS).
