Sisi Zlatanova, associate professor at our group, became a co-chair of the CODATA task group on Linked Open Data for Global Disaster risk.
CODATA, the Committee on Data for Science and Technology, is an interdisciplinary Scientific Committee of the International Council for Science (ICSU). CODATA was established 40 years ago with the mission of improvement the quality and accessibility of data and facilitation of the international cooperation between data providers. The LODGD Task Group focuses on mechanisms for connecting dispersed disaster-related scientific data to enable easier and faster discovery and access.
