Filip Biljecki receives EuroSDR Best PhD thesis award

Filip Biljecki, who successfully completed earlier this year his PhD in our group, is the winner of the second EuroSDR award for the best PhD thesis related to geoinformation science! EuroSDR is a not-for-profit organisation linking National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies with Research Institutes and Universities in Europe for the purpose of applied research in spatial data provision, management and delivery.

Filip won the award for his thesis Level of Detail in 3D City Models. The PhD was already ranked among the 5% best theses of Delft University of Technology.

Filip is currently a postdoc at the National University of Singapore.
