Visit of the First Vice President of ISPRS

Chen Jun, Chief Scientist of the National Geomatics Centre of China (NGCC) and ISPRS First Vice President visited the 3D geoinformation group on 4 November 2016. He discussed on-going projects with several researchers of the group, and expressed interest in establishing research cooperation with the Delft University of Technology. Chen Jun received a memory stick with the demo and information about our group. During this visit Chen Jun and Sisi Zlatanova discussed the activities of the ISPRS Commission IV in support of the UN Inter-agency Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goals Indicators with a working Group on Geospatial Information. Chen Jun is nominated as the representative of the Asia-Pacific region in the Expert Group.
